Alison Flower

Alison has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of recruitment and Learning & Development, and has worked in a variety of business sectors with a particular emphasis on Financial Services. She has worked as an Independent Consultant since January 08.

Her areas of specialism are in Psychometric Profiling, assessment and selection, tutoring, operational recruitment, selection training for managers, individual and team development, and coaching and performance management. She is qualified to use a range of psychometric tools.

Prior to working independently, Alison was employed by a number of FTSE 100 companies. Alison worked as a consultant with HBOS plc in both Learning and Development and Recruitment. During this time she managed several projects including the Graduate recruitment campaign for the HBOS Group, the rollout of a behavioural framework for Bank of Scotland Corporate, facilitation of a Leadership Development Programme with PWC and the introduction of a coaching culture for several Bank of Scotland Corporate business areas. Alison has also worked with Deutsche Bank, HSBC, State Street, BAE Systems, JP Morgan and BT call centres, where she was responsible for the recruitment of all colleagues at specific locations. Alison’s experience includes working in an outsourced, in-house and agency environment.

Alison has an honours degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde, and is a member of the CIPD. She is BPS Level A and B qualified and obtained her Certificate of Professional development in Coaching in November 2007. In addition to this, Alison is accredited to use the Insights Discovery® personality tool, Saville Consulting Wave, NEO, OPQ and Peoplemapper psychometric tools.
